Hi, I'm Shanna, a photographer located in Oklahoma City. I'm a dog loving extrovert!

When I was a child, I thought I wanted to be a veterinarian because I thought they just cuddled dogs and cats all day! Once I found out what they actually did, I quickly changed my mind.
​
I've been a photographer for over 20 years, since my days of earning my bachelor's degree of Fine Art from the University of Oklahoma. I've tried many types of photography over the years, but once I tried photographing dogs, I realized I could combine my love of photography with my childhood heart for dogs, and I haven't looked back. I love every moment of being covered in their fur and kisses, while using my talents to create memorable images for their two legged companions. Furever Photos is my passion and true calling!

I believe you should always be learning, always be growing and trying to better your craft. This is why for three years now, I have been entering my images into the International Pet Photography Awards. It's scary to put your work up to be judged by people at the top of the field and put in competition with others around the world, but the feedback received is priceless. Each year I push myself to do better, to be more creative, and to think about the details in each image more.
I'm so thankful to each and every client who has entrusted me with creating memories of their dog for them. I want the images I create for you, my clients, to take your breath away and make you fall in love with your dog all over again. I want the wall art we hang on your wall to stop your guests in their tracks and fill your home with love every day.
This accreditation was earned with my accumulation of points from entries in the awards. I'm already working towards the next level of expert!
